Scaldis Mosae ac Rheni Ostiorum Gentiumque Accolarum Antiqua Descriptio; historic map of the Low Countries that centers on the area to the north of the Sambre and Meuse Rivers, and to the west of the Rhine River, showing the mouths of each of the rivers. This original antique map originates from Cluver’s study of the ancient literary sources. This map was engraved by Nicolaas van Geelkercken, published ca. 1630.

Condition: Good. General age-related toning and light staining from handling. Margins browned. Top margin with tear, not effecting image.

Medium: copperplate engraving / etching on a verge type of hand-laid paper. Original fold.
