ASIA, drawn from the lateft ASTRONOMICAL OBSERVATIONS

An attractive late 18th to early 19th century English map of Asia in original outline colour engraved by Robert Wilkinson (d. c. 1825) and published by Hamilton Adams & Co. of Paternoster Row, London possibly in Wilkinson’s General Atlas of the World in 1831. Wilkinson also re-issued Emanuel Bowen and Thomas Kitchin’s Large English Atlas between 1779 and 1825).

Excellent condition, measures 277 x 217 mm,
