ASIAE NOVA Descriptio Auctore Jodoco Hondio by the famous 17th century Dutch cartographer Jodocus Hondius from the Atlas sive Cosmographicae Meditationes ……. Originally published by Hondius in partnership with the publishing house of Mercator in 1606. This map is from the French edition dated 1619 with the signature Nnnnnnn of the verso which has no text (Ref. Koeman II/p.329 Atlas Me26A).

The cartouche has some light colour but the body of the map is uncoloured, measures 371 x 500 mm.
